so my ankle has definitely been injured due to the fact that when I run, I run flat-footed. It was bothering me a little bit for like a week, but then progressively got worse. Yesterday it was so swollen it looked like I didn't even have an ankle on my left foot. :( but i put a bag of frozen soybeans on it and it made the swelling go down a little bit. hopefully it gets better soon.
Friday we close on our new house! well, townhouse, but either way, it's cool as shit. i <3 it. I have also adopted a new puppy that will be moving in with us when we get settled. My boss picked him up on the side of the road..he's so precious. he is a hound mix, so he has droopy ears and his eyes always look sad. I think I want to name him Buddy. He looks like a Buddy. :)
Other than that, nothing else interesting to tell of. Oh yeah...42 days until I'm in Boston. not that I'm counting or anything.... |

So we're moving April 10th to a townhouse in Grayson Valley...I'm really excited, it's a cute little place :) Living together with my mom will make it much easier for us to go on weekend trips whenever we feel like it. no worries over money. it's gonna be sweet.
Michael and I went running today and then I did 50 crunches...ouch. I'm determined that by the time summer comes around, I'm going to look damn good in a bathing suit. so I'm going to start working out hardcore. :)
EVERYONE must see An Inconvenient Truth. Really. It makes me wish Al Gore had become president...and I don't even have anything against Bush. But Gore is a smart man. yep.
And also, you should go see Little Miss Sunshine...just because it's hilarious and I loved it so much. I have to own it.
I would really like to hang out with some people I haven't seen in a while...you know who you are. please, let's make it a point to soon.
I really don't have anything else to say, except: the countdown begins...less than 2 months until my long anticipated trip to the fucking coolest city ever...BOSTON. can't freaking wait. :) |

So yesterday, we just booked our flight and hotel to Boston...I am extremely excited. We will be gone from May 16-20. Michael's brother and his wife are coming with us :) We bought tickets for a Red Sox vs. Detroit game on the 17th..and then we have 3 other days to do everything we want to do. We are staying at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel which is in the middle of downtown and close to everything...however I have read a lot of mixed reviews on this hotel and I'm getting kind of worried. People seem to either love it or hate it. A lot of people complain that they booked their hotel 3 months in advance and got there to find out they didn't have a room reserved. And that the rooms are small and noisy. But with all respect...it was built in 1927 and it's next to a subway..so the rooms are going to be that way. The good news is that it seems like people who complained about their rooms were given a room with a freakin awesome view on the 15th floor...so that doesn't seem so bad. here's what it looks like:

but hopefully everything turns out well...i'm really quite nervous now. michael's brother was in the army and he doesn't take crap from anyone, so if they give us a crappy room, i'm sure he can get us upgraded, haha. okay, it's bedtime..i've been sick and the nyquil is starting to kick in |

it's been a really long time since i've written in this thing...we don't have internet, but if we sit near the living room window it works :) I had an AMAZING birthday, I couldn't have asked for anything more. It was full of surprises. First, michael took me to the IMAX and we watched Deep Sea. And then he said we had somewhere else to go....we showed up in the PetSmart parking lot where we bought $40 worth of cat food, cat toys, etc. The people who live above us have a cat who gave birth to 3 kittens, and Michael finally decided to let me get one, despite his allergies. I am super excited, but I have to wait 5 more weeks until I can take one. So far, the names that are being debated are "Sox", partly because the cat is starting to get grey paws, and the other half is for my love of the boston red sox. Michael wants to name it Jack Sparrow, and call it Jack for short, and I have to agree that that is an adorable name for a boy kitty. We'll see which name wins in a couple of weeks. After that, I opened my present and it was an Ipod Nano with a Boston red sox cover. I am so excited it's ridiculous. I also got a purple dress from my mom that is adorable, and some much needed makeup from Michael's mom.
Michael's birthday was also a blast. I got him some new clothes and an acoustic guitar. We also went to Alabama Adventure, and it was about 110 degrees outside. Michael made me ride this terrifying wooden roller coaster like 3 times. I was scared for my life.
Last night I had a lot of fun too...party at Travis' house. His new girlfriend is really sweet, and I also met a girl named Shannon, who is also really sweet and fun to hang out with. Shannon was smart enough to bring a bathing suit, but the rest of us three had to resort to swimming in our bras and mens boxers. Good times. I learned how to dive and back dive thanks to Shannon. :) I am really glad to have made some new friends....however, I still miss my old friends. Ana...you know I'm talking about you! please call me again soon so we can hang out!
And Ashlee, I just got your comment on myspace...thank you for wishing me happy birthday! I can't wait til you get here on Tuesday. :)

So me and Michael moved into our new apartment, and it is really cute :)
We already bought an armoire and a widescreen tv...although we had to transform the box the tv came in into a couch, hah. oh well, we'll be getting one soon, so we'll just make do for now.
I got my raise at work, so things are definitely looking up. This weekend, Teri is coming up to visit, and I can't wait. I miss being in Mobile where I was close to my friends. However, I don't miss almost dying in hurricanes. Hopefully we can find something fun to do this weekend. I can't think of anything else. I won't have the internet for a while :( but it's okay, because we have Golden Eye on N64, hahah...we're lame : / |
